Our students get jobs
In 2018 an alumni survey was sent out from the Department of Political Science to former students, to ask them what they do after graduation. The results show that 93 percent of our alumni have jobs, work as trainees or as volunteers, started their own companies or have continued to study. 47 per cent have permanent employment.
The survey was sent to 510 alumni, 263 responded to the survey, giving a response rate of 52 per cent. Those who did internships during their education found jobs faster than those who didn’t. Some, 34 per cent of the respondent alumni, started their jobs before completing their studies.
Most of the respondents, 41 per cent work in the public sector and 28 per cent in the private sector. 24 per cent work outside of Sweden.
