Excellent teaching
The title Excellent Teacher is awarded in recognition of outstanding pedagogical achievement. In 2025, the Department of Political Science appointed its first Excellent Teacher.
Anders Sundell
Anders Sundell is Deputy Head of the Department of Political Science and Director of Studies. He primarily teaches research methods and supervises undergraduate and doctoral students.
He earned his PhD from the University of Gothenburg in 2015 with a dissertation on good governance in public administration. In 2020, he was promoted to Associate Professor (Docent). Since 2018, he has served as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science. In 2025, he was appointed Excellent Teacher, becoming the first recipient of this distinction in the department.
His research focuses on political representation and the relationship between public opinion and politics.
