With Measures for a Secure Workplace: Core Facilities Still Available During the Pandemic

At Core Facilities we are following the recommendations of the Swedish authorities and using the guidelines of the University of Gothenburg in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our aim is to continue to provide top-quality research support and education at high capacity, whether it is face-to-face or on-line.

Please check with each facility for their specific guidelines for users. You can also find a summary and links below.

For all our safety and health, we urge staff, users and students to carry out their work in line with current decisions and recommendations  on national and university level.

Biobank

  • Please contact the facility for further information

Bioinformatics

  • All the Bioinformatics services are still running but have shifted to 100% online. Please, don't hesitate to contact us.

Clinical Genomics

  • Please contact the facility for further information

Center for Cellular Imaging

  • The Centre for Cellular Imaging is still available, but with limitations and routines to reduce risk of spreading infection.

Experimental Biomedicine

  • The EBM facility is operating normally and at full capacity. Access is limited to staff, and scientists who are confirmed members of EBM research groups.

Mammalian Protein Expression

  • We are still open for research support. Please contact us via mail, phone or digital meetings.

Proteomics

  • The Proteomics research support is still available. We are open for research support and are analyzing samples as usual. Please contact us via email before submitting samples. Customer meetings are limited and are mostly held as virtual meetings.
