Our research

At the Department of Cultural Sciences, research is conducted in the disciplines of ethnology, film studies, gender studies, art history and visual studies, cultural studies and musicology. The Department offers a richly varied range of research seminars and each year welcomes a number of international guest researchers in various fields. It also features several major research projects, research networks and centres of expertise that are considered international leaders.
