Organisation
CELAM is a collaboration involving the University of Gothenburg, Lund University, the Swedish National Board of Forensic Medicine, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, the Regional Forensic Psychiatric Clinic Växjö (Region Kronoberg), the Forensic Psychiatry Services Region Skåne, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, and the National Board of Institutional Care.
Scientific collaboration within CELAM is organised around a consortium of four research groups at Swedish universities working on mental disorder and crime. The activities are led by a management group comprising the principal investigators of the four research groups. The work of the management group is monitored and evaluated by a steering group, which holds decision-making authority in long-term, overarching strategic and organisational matters. Collaboration between the research groups is facilitated through three cross-cutting groups bringing together doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and professors, respectively.
