Om Matilda Arvidsson
Matilda Arvidsson forskar interdisciplinärt inom rättsfilosofi, internationell rätt, migrationsrätt, AI och rätten, samt om hur framtidens lagar kan reglera interaktionen mellan människa, djur, natur och teknik.Matilda har blivit inbjuden att tala om sin forskning på en rad universitet runtom i världen, bland annat på University of Technology Sydney, Australia; Western Sydney University, Australien; Kent Law School, Canterbury, UK; La Trobe Law School, Melbourne, Australien; Melbourne Law School, Australien, samt Uppsala universitet och Köpenhamns universitet.
Under 2019-20 är hon Kungliga Vitterhetsakademins Bernadotte-stipendiat.
Matilda är kursföreståndare för Migrationsrätt, HRS282, (fördjupningskurs, 15 hp) med Street Law-inriktning inom Rättspraktiken och undervisar inom internationell rätt, migrationsrätt, rättsteori, konstitutionell rätt och genusvetenskap. Hon tar handledaruppdrag på doktorand- och magisternivå inom internationell rätt (särskilt med inriktning feminism, posthumanism, krigets lagar, AI och folkrättens teori och historia), internationell privaträtt, rättshistoria, rättsteori, konstitutionell rätt, djurrätt och därtill relaterade ämnen. Hon är även verksam som praktiserande jurist och föreläsare.
Matildas forskningsnätverk sträcker sig över svenska, nordiska och internationella samarbeten, med forskningsvistelser i Australien, Storbritannien och USA. Hon är medlem i Law & Soceitys International Law and Policy Collaborative Research Network, samt Harvard Law School Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) alumni. Hon har återkommande peer review-uppdrag för bl.a. Oxford University Press, Routledge, Leiden Journal of International Law, Australian Feminist Law Journal och Griffith Law Review.
