Doctoral Studies

At the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology we conduct third-cycle education within the following PhD subjects: medical science, basic medicine, health care science and pharmaceutical science.

At our Institute, we not only conduct research in neuroscience and physiology — we also educate future experts in areas such as child psychiatry, physical therapy, and addiction. As a doctoral student, you become part of a vibrant and multidisciplinary research environment. The programme usually concludes with a doctoral degree, with the option to finish with a licentiate degree instead.
