Our facilities in Gothenburg
In Gothenburg, we are located in the building Natrium on Medicinareberget.
Natrium is a new building on Medicinareberget, which is located near the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. It brings together students and researchers in the fields of conservation, biology, chemistry, earth sciences, environmental sciences, marine sciences and molecular biology.
The Natrium is seven storeys high and has a large atrium in the centre. The building accommodates about 3000 students and 500-600 staff. The building has lecture halls, course labs and study areas. On the ground floor, you find a reception, study counsellors and the student union's office. The restaurant, Salt & Syra, is also found on the ground floor.
Located on level 3
The department office spaces for teachers, researchers and administrative staff are located on level 3. Teaching in course labs is given in the department's premises on level 3 and other teaching is held in lecture halls and seminar rooms on the entrance floor, on level 3 or in the adjacent building Medicinarelängan.
Find Natrium
Natrium´s entrance is located on Medicinaregatan 21. It is also possible to enter Natrium via Madicinaregatan 7 B.
By tram and bus: Several buses and trams go to Medicinaregatan and Sahlgrenskas University Hospital. Both stops are close to Medicinareberget. Use Västtrafik's journey planner to find the best connection.
By bike: Trafiken.nu has bike maps and a trip planner (only in Swedish). A bicycle parking is found adjacent to the entrance on Medicinaregatan 21.
