Research in management and organisation

We focus on sustainable business, human resource management, new technologies, multinational companies, innovation, and growth. Our studies shed light on how organisations evolve and adapt in an era characterised by technological change, globalisation and heightened sustainability demands.

Our research in sustainable business focuses on how companies develop and implement strategies that promote economic, social and environmental sustainability. We also study how the transition to more sustainable business practices can be achieved in practice.

In the area of human resource management, we study how HR work changes during periods of transition, particularly in relation to the introduction of new technology, demographic changes, and new forms of work.

Our research on new technologies examines how technological developments create opportunities and challenges in the everyday lives of organisations and how the boundaries between human and non-human actors are becoming increasingly blurred.

Our research on multinational companies focuses on the relationship between head offices and subsidiaries, and how these relationships are shaped by the companies' structure, strategy, and institutional context.

We study open innovation, clusters and entrepreneurship in this area, focusing particularly on the effect of new technology, such as digitalisation, on companies' development, competitiveness and growth prospects.
