Your booking confirmation provides an overview of your registration details and personal information. Please review the confirmation carefully and make sure that all information is correct.

Registration and name badge

Registration will open at 08:30 on September 17 and will remain open throughout both conference days.

Registration for the conference remains open until September 10. If you know of colleagues who are planning to attend but have not yet registered, please encourage them to do so before the deadline via this link

Conference program

Please find the program here

We would be grateful if you could review the program, in particular your presentation time, session and affiliation, and let us know as soon as possible if you identify any scheduling conflicts, errors or other concerns.

The papers/abstracts will be available through links in the conference program soon.

Session Chairs

We have now appointed Chairs for most of the parallel sessions and very much hope that the proposed assignments work for you.

If you have been listed as a Session Chair, there is no need to return to us if you are happy to take on the role. In the absence of a response, we will assume that the proposed arrangement is acceptable to you.

Session Chairs will be asked to:

  • briefly introduce the presenters;
  • facilitate questions and discussion; and
  • importantly, ensure that presentations and discussions keep to schedule.

If you are unable to chair the session assigned to you, please let us know as soon as possible.

Presentation format and timing

Most parallel sessions include either three or four papers. To ensure sufficient time for both presentations and discussion, we kindly ask all presenters to respect the following time allocations:

  • Sessions with four papers: approximately 15 minutes for each presentation, followed by approximately 7 minutes for discussion.
  • Sessions with three papers: approximately 20 minutes for each presentation, followed by approximately 10 minutes for discussion.

Please respect these time limits out of consideration for your fellow presenters and the audience. Session Chairs will be asked to keep presentations and discussions within the allocated time.

  • Presentation equipment: Presenters are kindly asked to bring their own laptop for their presentation and to also have a copy of the presentation available on a USB stick as a backup.

Please arrive at your session room in good time before the session starts to test the connection and make sure that your presentation and any necessary equipment are working properly.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner is included in your registration fee; however, advance registration is required. Please refer to your booking confirmation to check whether you are registered for the dinner.
