About Åsa Wengelin

My main research interests are: the written language production process, the relation between spoken and written language, literacy acquisition, language disorders and linguistic accessability (e.g. plain language and easy readers).

Before my appointment at the University of Gothenburg I held positions as research scholar at Florida Atlantic University and Lund University, senior lecturer in special education at Karlstad University and senior lecturer – and later guest professor – in disability studies at Halmstad University College.
