Ted Underwood is a Professor at the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. We will discuss two chapters from his 2019 book Distant Horizons. The chapters suggested for reading are:
Chapter 3 – The Long Arch of Prestige
Chapter 5 – The Risks of Distant Reading
