The School launches international bachelor's programme in Business and Economics
In autumn 2023, an English-language bachelor's programme in Business and Economics will begin at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. The programme will provide students with broad knowledge of business and economics and the tools to contribute towards solving societal challenges.
About the Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics
The new programme is based on the current Bachelor of Business and Economics programme. From autumn 2023, the School will offer two versions of the programme: one entirely in English and one where the teaching begins in Swedish, with an increasing degree of English during the later terms.
- Programme name: Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics
- Scope and degree: Three years (180 credits), Degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Business Administration/Economics/Financial Economics (depending on the chosen main field of study)
- Number of places: 90
- Programme begins: Autumn 2023
- Application deadline: Non-European students 16 January 2023, Swedish and European students 17 April 2023
- Tuition fees: Free of charge for students from the EU/EEA and Switzerland; students from other countries pay a total of SEK 261,000 for six terms
- Studying abroad: Students on the programme have excellent opportunities to spend a term studying abroad at one of the School’s partner universities
- Personal and professional development: In addition to regular teaching, students will also be offered the opportunity to practise their professional skills with support from the School’s Career Service
