Social work, health and ill health

Research group

Short description

Within Social work, health and ill-health, research is conducted that concerns social work, health and ill-health from a variety of theoretical perspectives, such as critical theory and phenomenology. In all areas we study, social work is included at all levels: from individual perspectives to group, professions and organizational and societal perspectives. Our research directs a clearer focus in research towards the relationships between social work, health and ill health. With our research, we contribute to client and community benefit, e.g. by contributing to implementation in clinical practice and capturing current research issues. We also want to create bridges between educations in social work - in particular the Health Care Curator program - but also other educations that exist in the subject at master's and doctoral level.
