Trisha Rajput is a Researcher at the Department of Law, University of Gothenburg. Her work examines the governance challenges arising at the intersection of international trade law, digital technologies, and geopolitical transformation. Combining legal and informatics perspectives, she researches digital trade, artificial intelligence, platform governance, supply-chain visibility, economic security, and international economic regulation, including sanctions and export controls.
Her work is interdisciplinary, bringing together academia, industry, and public authorities through collaborative research and international partnerships. She has contributed to externally funded research projects supported by organisations including VINNOVA and STINT. She is a member of the leadership team of the Virtual Watch Tower (VWT), a federated supply-chain visibility initiative, and a co-founder of GEm Lab, an initiative that advances collaborative research in higher education, responsible AI, and shared governance.
Trisha's research has been published in books and journals in international trade law and transport law. She has presented her work at international organisations and professional forums, including UNCITRAL and UNESCAP. She also contributes to curriculum development and interdisciplinary teaching in international law, commercial law, and international trade law.
Trisha received her PhD in Law from the University of Leeds in 2013 and an MSc in Informatics, with distinction, from the University of Gothenburg in 2024.
