OSKAR ENGDAHL is Associate Professor (Docent) in sociology.

Specialist Fields

Engdahl’s research is mainly focused on fraud, white collar crime, workplace crime and crime prevention. His research has also covered tax havens and financial offshore markets.

2025-2027: Fraud, deceptive strategies, and vulnerability: A study on how we are exploited when we are most at risk (Funded by Forte)

2026-2028: The gendered nature of fraud and white-collar crime: a study offender strategies, victim reactions, and crime prevention potentials (Funded by Vetenskapsrådet)

Crime, built environment and sustainable cities: In-depth analyzes of fraud victimization at the micro-geographical level (Funded by Formas); Crime prevention and financial crime. Teaching and tutoring

Engdahl currently teaches courses in sociology, criminology, and social studies and supervises bachelor's and master's theses.
