Department of Internal Medicine and ClinicalAbout Hannah Colldén
Hannah Colldén started her PhD in the end of 2015 with focus on the local regulation and production of sex steroid hormones in tissues. Hannah also works as a pharmacist at the department of Clinical Pharmacology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and graduated 2012 from the University of Gothenburg.
Main Research Topic
Sex steroid hormones are important for many different diseases and it has been suggested that local regulation of sex steroids may play a role in certain conditions. At the moment Hannah is investigating the impact of gut microbiota on local steroid hormone levels in the gastrointestinal tract.
