About Erik Andersson
Andersson has a Ph D in education. He has worked as a teacher in secondary education and has for a long time been working in different types of teacher education programs. Andersson is associate professor in education (docent).
Anderssons research is directed towards pedagogical improvement processes and sustainability including a special interest in school improvement, education and teaching, collegial learning, pedagogical leadership, and youth political participation and socialisation. His research includes different educational settings (e.g. sports, school, social media, youth policy). Theoretically he is influenced by agonism and pragmatism, building on the works of John Dewey, Hannah Arendt and Chantal Mouffe, and complexity theory/thinking.
