About

In this course, you develop your oral and written language
proficiency in French. The course also covers different aspects of
culture and society in French-speaking countries. You are provided with
theoretical tools to study and analyse the structure of the French
language, French literature and other media. The content of all modules
is highlighted by means of current research.

You can study the entire course (30 credits) or choose to study one or more of the modules included in the course.

Elective modules:

FR1120 French Literature: Text and other Media, 7,5 credits, quarter 1-4
FR1130 French: Culture and Society, 7,5 credits, quarter 1-4
FR1140 French: Oral Communication, 5,5 credits, quarter 1-4
Pronunciation, 1 credit, quarter 1-2
Phonetics, 1 credit, quarter 1-2 – requirement: Swedish
French Grammar, 5 credits, quarter 1-4 – requirement: Swedish
Linguistics Seminars, 2.5 credits, quarter 1-4 – requirement: Swedish
