Political Communication with focus on Politicians, Citizens and Media
The Master's Programme in Political Communication (PolCom) is aimed at you who are interested in qualified work in political communication including media analysis, crisis communication and opinion analysis.
The programme examines the role of communication in political processes and what consequences it brings about for democratic societies. If you want advanced understanding of communication in a political context and its significance for democracy and power, you should apply.
You will develop competences including strategic communication, crisis communication, and opinion analysis. You will explore various ways of understanding political communication including cultural and critical perspectives.
Through seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and study visits, you will gain strategic communication skills and learn to analyse major changes in communication and power relations between different actors in the political arena.
