Methodologies of Gender Studies

In this course you reach a broad understanding of different methods and methodologies. Methods that are used in the interdisciplinary field of Gender Studies and gender research in other disciplines will be examined and compared. Methodological questions will also be discussed as useful tools in different sorts of professional settings, such as writing of reports and making surveys.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
Eligible for the course is the student that has passed GS2201, Theories in Gender Studies.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
Facilities
The Faculty of Humanites premises are in the building Humanisten at Renströmsgatan 6. The facilities of the Department of Cultural Sciences are situated on the second floor of the building. Both Humanisten and the adjacent Humanities Library offer spacious study spaces and several group rooms.
