Digital Project Laboratory
About
During this course we will discuss the work of designing and implementing a digital device, in which a microprocessor can be included.
The aim of the course if to provide the students with the following skills:
- Construction - with limited resources
- Troubleshooting with a Logic Analyzer
- Timing
- Using FPGA circuits
- Reading technical documentation
- Report writing with focus on technical documentation
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
One year of study in the subject computer science or equivalent and the course DIT792 Digital and computer technology (or equivalent).
Applicants must prove knowledge of English: English 6/English level 2 or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
Selection
Selection is based upon average grade from upper secondary school (34 %), the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits (33 %) and Högskoleprovet - Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (33 %).
