SMART - for students wanting to invest in their own development

Published

SMART is a track which is on the course schedule of all the Bachelor's programmes. It consists of scheduled interactive workshops that help students to cope better with their studies and to become ready for woking-life.

The modules deal with everything from collaboration, study techniques, self-leadership, motivation, goal setting and communication to career planning. It is a program that helps students get the most out of their study time and at the same time prepare for the job market.

Måns Kristiansson is a student in the Bachelor's programme in Business and Economics and appreciates the SMART track:

- We have for example learned about study techniques, how to market yourself and set up a good Linkedin profile. We have also had a good course in Excel from Learnesy. The skills here have taught me to become a better person in both social life and work life.

Anne Eileen Sørensen has also taken part in SMART:

- I think that SMART will help me in the future by making me more confident, like you have prepared more than your colleagues, that you have made an extra effort. For example, I feel more confident in giving presentations. We have also learned how to set goals. That I actually know what I want, how to do it and why I need to do something.
