Over 90 scientists at the 7th CARe meeting
The seventh annual CARe meeting was held May 30-31 at Quality Hotel Waterfront in Gothenburg. Over 90 CARe scientists from GU and Chalmers participated during the theme-based sessions.
The seventh annual CARe meeting was held May 30-31 at Quality Hotel Waterfront in Gothenburg. Over 90 CARe scientists from GU and Chalmers participated during the theme-based sessions.
On the first day, scientists from the themes Diagnostics, Therapeutics, Environment and Transmission presented their work.
In the evening, and for the first time at a CARe meeting, we had a poster session.
Day two, we all enjoyed talks from researchers from the themes of Surveillance and Interventions.
The keynote speakers, Professor Thomas Van Boeckel, Dep. of Environmental Systems Science, ETH Zürich, and Associate Professor, Pamela Yeh, Dept. of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, UCLA, gave much-appreciated talks about their work.
All in all, it was a great meeting.
