Come and listen to Åsa Beckman, deputy cultural director at Dagens Nyheter, talk about Sonja Åkesson and the archive after her. The archive contains some treasures, including diaries where Åsa herself is mentioned! Beckman will also talk about her ongoing biography project, which is based on archival research at KvinnSam. No pre-registration is required, everyone is welcome!
KvinnSamSem is an open seminar series for anyone interested in women's and gender research! The seminar is one hour long and takes place at lunchtime. It is okay to bring your own lunch during the session. The project is presented and participants have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback in a relaxed manner. The seminar is usually held in Swedish but can be taken in English, Norwegian or Danish if so desired by the speaker or participants.
Four Tuesdays in April, Lagerhusets Bibliotek, Göteborgs Litteraturhus and KvinnSam will celebrate Sonja Åkesson's 100th anniversary. There will be a stage program, workshops, an exhibition and shared reading.
