About Sören Holmberg 

Sören Holmberg born 1943; employed at the Department of Political Science in Gothenburg since 1966; appointed Full Professor 1991; Senior Professor since 2010.

Research

Dissertation 1974 on Representative Democracy; there to research on Voters and Elections as well as Political Behavior (The Swedish National Election Studies and the SOM Institute), and across national states Quality of Government (QoG-institute); today active in the MEK-project studying opinions on Environment, Energy and Climate. 

Teaching 

Last lesson on the basic level was in the fall of 2024 when Sören Holmberg became a Jubilee Doctor.
