About Nalleli Vivanco Karlsson
Im a trained Pediatric Clinical Nutritionist with a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology. Started my career as a pediatric nutritionist in Mexico in 2003 at Hospital Infantil de México (Federico Gómez) a high specialty pediatric hospital in Mexico City. In 2005 I began my Master in Sciences in the National Cardiology Institute at the Pediatric Department, with a project evaluating the effect of malnutrition in children with congenital cardiopathy. From 2009 to 2012 I developed a PhD project about Vit D, physical activity, skin tone and genes in Mexican adult population. I have been working as a pediatric nutritionist in Sweden since 2018. I have clinical experience in cardiology, neonatology, gastroenterology, enteral and parenteral nutrition. I am affiliated to Karl Mårild's research group (gastrointestinal epidemiology) and have an ongoing collaboration regarding screening for malnutrition in IBD and dietary therapy for patients with Crohn's disease.
