About Magnus Karlsson
. I am Ph.D. student within CUL (Center for Educational science and teacher research) and a former preschool teacher and I have a candidate degree in pedagogy. I conduct research studies since 2011 and my thesis is about social order and social interaction in preschool. The study is based on video recordings and analysis conducted within an ethnomethodological and conversation analytic approach and it focuses on sequences where norms and moral orders are considered to have been violated and reactions to these. I am interested in children's handling of rules, creation of alliances and how children make each other morally accountable in various situations, thus creating different moral orders. I have been teaching at the pre-school teacher education program in a course on social relationships, conflict management, and leadership.
