Research interests
I earned my PhD in social work in 2025 from university of Gothenburg. The dissertation is titled Emotional Navigation in Social Services, a ethnographic study of social workers' working conditions focusing on the tension between organizational demands and professional ethics and notions of professionalism. More specifically, it examines the emotional labor of social workers in relation to often-conflicting ideals, and the tensions that arise between them.
Teaching
I have been teaching a range of courses in the Social Work program at both undergraduate and advanced levels since 2018.
