About Angela Casale

I am a Lecturer in Language Education at the Department of Education and Special Education, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.  I am one of the course leaders for the English courses in the Primary Teacher Education Program for grades F–3 and 4–6, with a focus on didactics in second language education and holds a Master of Science degree in Subject Didactics. In addition to the English courses, I also assess student teachers during their teaching practice (VFU). I teach 80% in the teacher education program, and the remaining 20% of my time I spend working with the national tests in English, for grade 6. I have worked in compulsory school for over 20 years. I have been a classroom teacher, but above all, I have taught English across all ages in school.
