European and Comparative Constitutional Law Research Cluster

Klustret består av forskare som är intresserade av EU-rätt och teori, Europakonventionens rätt, komparativ konstitutionell rätt, komparativ rätt och tvärrättsliga frågor mer allmänt.

Klustret har starka band till Juridiska fakultetens ämnesgrupper och har som sin specifika uppgift att främja forskning relaterad till EU-rätt, Europakonventionen och komparativa rättsliga frågor. Klustret organiserar diskussionsgrupper (t.ex. en diskussionsgrupp om EU-rätt) samt regelbundna konferenser och workshops.

Klustret har också nära kopplingar till internationella forskningsprojekt vid GU. Till exempel samordnas det EU Horizon-finansierade konsortiet HRJust-projektet (HRjust) på Juridiska institutionen och med ett av arbetspaketen (WP 3) som också finns på institutionen. Klustret nhar också ära band med det tvärvetenskapliga Centrum för Europastudier (CERGU) samt med det europeiska utbildningsprogrammet vid GU. Dessutom har klustret samarbete med Swedish Network of European Legal Studies.

There are several advanced LLM courses that are related to the cluster and taught by our members. For example, the following courses:

  • Area of Freedom, Security and Justice and Introduction to Comparative Constitutional Law, HRS 193
  • EU procedural law HRS085

Seminars

The cluster organizes seminars and conferences. All faculty members are welcome to participate in our cluster. The events are, in general, open to the public.
