About

The course gives an introduction to educational research and deals with
both Swedish and international education. It covers the history of
pedagogy and the development into new areas of educational research.
Major research traditions within the field of education will be
presented and discussed and special emphasis will be placed on issues
related to the faculty´s different research perspectives. The course
will give a comprehensive introduction to the faculty´s different
research environments.

Requirements

To be eligible for the course Introduction to the International Master in Educational Research, a good first cycle degree in Social Sciences with a minimum of 60 credits in Education, or equivalent are required. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
