About

This is a web-based course introducing Geographic Information Systems
(GIS). The course consists of recorded lectures and practical GIS
exercises using open source GIS software such as QGIS. After the course
you will have theoretical knowledge about the concept of GIS and basic
practical skills in the application of GIS techniques and tools which
can be used in a wide range of research fields and topics.
