Management

This course contains both a theoretical part and an applied part. The theoretical contents are concentrated on basic concepts, theories and perspective in organisation and leadership. In the applied part literature seminars will be utilised for discussion of cases which are analysed by means of the basic concepts in organisation and leadership.

The teaching is carried out in the form of lectures, literature seminars and report seminars. During the lectures, theoretical concepts and models are presented. In the literature seminars, the students are expected to participate actively through discussing implications of the theories. In the report seminars, the connections between theory and practical everyday situations in organisation and leadership are analysed and discussed. The course includes discussion of socially sustainable development related to organisation and leadership.
