Somali Grammar 1 for Mother Tongue Speakers
Summary
If Somali is your mother tongue and you are interested in languages, then this is a course for you. It is also well suited for teachers of Somali as a mother tongue.
About
The aim of the course is that students should develop a basic understanding of Somali as a language system from a contrastive perspective mainly by making comparisons with Swedish and/or English. The student should also develop a sufficient linguistic conceptual apparatus in Swedish and/or English as well as Somali to be able to discuss the grammatical issues that are treated in the course.
The course has scheduled online classes.
Language of instruction:
In the autumn term 2025, the course is offered in English and in Swedish.
Please note that there is one application code for the English version and one application code for the Swedish version
Required documents: Transcript proving completed upper secondary school education + proficiency in English + ID showing citizenship
