  • Stylistics and style in literature: From corpus analysis to literary theory, 7.5 Higher Education Credits
  • Literary landscapes across time and place, 7.5 Higher Education Credits
  • Communication in professional contexts, 7.5 Higher Education Credits
  • Career planning in the Humanities, 7.5 Higher Education Credits
4During the fourth semester, you can take elective courses in English or other subjects offered by the department, the university, or other higher education institutions. Another option is to apply for an exchange and study abroad or to do an internship. The semester comprises 30 credits.

  • English in the global arena: Fundamentals of language consulting, 7.5 Higher Education Credits
  • English in the digital era: AI and other emerging technologies in linguistics, 7.5 Higher Education Credits

All students take the above courses during the first part of the semester. After that, you may choose between the internship course: 

  • Language in practice, 15 Higher Education Credits

    or the following courses: 

  • Gender in Literature: Historical and contemporary perspectives, 7.5 Higher Education Credits
  • Academic communication, 7.5 Higher Education Credits

During this semester, you are given the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in either literary studies or linguistics. (More information here):
