Teaching format:

The language of instruction is English but of course, your music can be written and produced in the language you prefer.

Prerequisites

  • Computer and software: You need access to a computer (or tablet) with sufficient performance for online studies and basic music production. Furthermore, some form of DAW software (Digital Audio Workstation) such as Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, Pro Tools, GarageBand, Reaper, Bitwig, FL Studio etc.
  • Prior musical knowledge: Even if not necessary, it’s a clear advantage if you have some experience of creating or performing music.
  • Sound: Consider investing in good headphones or speakers, as well as an external microphone and sound card to create optimal audio conditions.

Selection is based upon average grade from upper secondary school (34 %), the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits (33 %) and Högskoleprovet - Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (33 %).
