You will be introduced to Chinese propaganda — expressed through words, images, and music — and to propagandistic language in China from the first half of the 20th century to today, with a particular focus on the People's Republic of China.
About
You will gain insight into, and learn about, the fundamental causes behind Chinese propaganda and propagandistic language from the first half of the 20th century to the present day. You’ll learn to give an overview of its development and, with a critical approach, discuss propaganda and propagandistic language in China.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
At least 120 credits in Chinese or completion of the course KI1400 or the equivalent andlanguage proficiency corresponding to English 6.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 285 credits
