This course offers you in-depth knowledge about archives and moving images in the digital age. We will analyze numerous aspects of the contemporary media ecology from critical and historical perspectives. You will acquire theoretical as well as practical tools for understanding key concepts, major developments, and historical contexts. All course activities, such as lectures, seminars and workshops, are connected to an individual exam assignment.

Requirements
Completed courses for a bachelor degree, or the equivalent. In addition to this, competence in English that equals English B/English 6.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.
For admission to the summer 2021 and onward the following selection applies: selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
