Short description

The research group focuses on structural studies of relatively large gas-phase molecules and their aggregates, with a special emphasis on bio-molecules, as well as investigations of the dynamics associated with internal energy dissipation in these systems. The arsenal of the experimental tools employed involves local, national and international facilities; for example, storage ring devices, soft X-ray, UV and mid/far-IR light sources such as free electron lasers, synchrotrons and table-top lasers.

Apart from experimental measurements, the group performs quantum chemical calculations, employing DFT and ab initio methods, to interpret experimentally measured spectra. The group collaborates with many researchers locally, nationally and internationally.
