What will you be working with at GPCC?
I will contribute to the utilisation of research on person-centred care by, among other things, compiling and presenting an overview of the range of practice tools developed at GPCC, planning and being involved in education on person-centred care adapted to different target groups, and by designing presentation materials.
Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to working with in this role?
I look forward to working more directly with utilization of research and through this expand my collaborations both inside and outside the centre.
What is your background?
I have been a certified speech and language therapist since 2011 and defended my dissertation in medical science in 2017. I have been affiliated with GPCC since 2011, in the role as project assistant, doctoral student, post doctor and researcher. My research focuses mainly on person-centred care and conversational interaction between patients and health care professionals. My dissertation also focused on supportive strategies regarding communication for people with acquired communication disorders in connection with neurological injury or disease. In recent years, I have also come to work a lot with systematic literature reviews.
