Considerations on societal impact

Here is a brief overview on Astrid's considerations on societal impact.

- One of the most important ambitions of academia is to stimulate innovative and untraditional collaborations between university and industry to ensure efficient use of state-of-the-art research for knowledge-intensive breakthrough innovation. One way to do so, is through capturing the potential of industrial digital technologies, collaborative robotics, AI and hyperflexible automation systems, and introducing this knowledge to manufacturing companies. Such knowledge is essential for driving the digital and sustainable transformation of our industries.
