Welcome to a seminar where Viktoria Vallström, doctoral student in sociology, will present and discuss her research entitled: Multimodal Climate Obstruction Narratives on Short-Form Video Platforms.
Victoria Vallström is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Gothenburg, working on the research project “In the Eye of the Storm: Climate Adaptation in Times of Increasing Polarization and Disinformation.” With a background in computer science, she combines technical expertise with sociological research. Her dissertation focuses on climate misinformation on social media, particularly multimodal climate obstruction narratives on short-form video platforms like TikTok.
