Backa Library and the University of Gothenburg invite you to current research lectures. A few times per semester you will be able to take part in new knowledge and exciting perspectives.

About the lecture

We would like to believe that we control our own decisions – but often we are influenced more than we realize by invisible social rules. In this lecture you will gain insight into how norms shape both your own choices and the behavior of people around you. The lecture summarizes the latest research on when, how and why norms affect us – and shows how they can be used as a tool for a better environment, where sustainable choices become more natural in everyday life.

Participants

Magnus Bergquist, senior lecturer, Department of Psychology, University of Gothenburg.

The lecture will be in Swedish.
