Helen is a PhD student within CUL (Centrum för utbildningsvetenskap och lärande) graduate school, and the focus for her project is to evaluate the impact of a Botanical Garden's outreach wildflower initiative on children’s perspectives on native wildflowers.

This study aims to explore children's perspectives on wildflowers and if they evolve through their participation in an outdoor "wilding" project on school grounds. The two planned studies will examine whether these initiatives foster stronger connections with nature and inspire a deeper sense of interest and responsibility for the natural world.

Helens main supervisor is Ola Nordqvist and examiner is Angela Wulff, Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences.  Co-supervisors are Dawn Sanders (Department of Pedagogical, Curricular and Professional studies) and Jenny Klingberg, (BioEnv & Gothenburg Botanical Garden).
