What does it mean to conduct research in or between subjects and disciplines? Artistic research is multidisciplinary and collaborative in character. It covers a large number of art forms and research fields - all with their own needs and prerequisites. This year's symposium on artistic research is about the opportunities and challenges involved in collaboration.

The symposium will be held in both Swedish and English.
Registration opens in September and last day to register is November 16.
Please note that the time for start and ending are preliminary and might be adjusted.
Open Call - is now closed. The last day to submit proposals for presentations was June 30.

Save the date for the Swedish Research Council's (Vetenskapsrådets) Symposium on artistic research 2020. This year's hosts will be Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology and the theme is "Working Together".
