Chamber Choir: Warum?

Culture and languages

The Chamber Choir at the Academy of Music and Drama presents an autumn concert with music that expresses lamentation over the suffering and injustices of our times, but also hopefulness. In addition to the concert's main piece – Johannes Brahms' motet Warum ist das Licht gegeben dem Mühseligen (Why is the light of day given to the afflicted?) – music by Francis Poulenc, Caroline Shaw, James MacMillan and others will also be performed.
