Performing artist Karl Dyall is now joining the Artist in Residence program funded by the Stena Foundation. With over four decades of experience, he will serve as a powerful source of inspiration and a guest lecturer for the next generation, with a particular focus on musical theatre students. Here, Dyall is interviewed (in Swedish) by Catharina Bergil, Head of the Performing Arts Programs at the Academy of Music and Drama.

Karl Dyall is joining the Artist in Residence program at the Academy of Music and Drama. The program has been running since 2018 and is funded by the Stena Foundation. With his extensive experience, Dyall will be an important source of inspiration for musical theatre students and a link between education and professional performing arts.

Karl Dyall has been a central figure in Swedish performing arts since the 1980s and has played a significant role in establishing street dance in Sweden. His career spans dance, singing, acting and choreography, and he has been honoured with several Guldmasken awards. He is also known from the tv series Rederiet and NileCity 105.6, as well as a member of the BouncE Streetdance Company.
