About Ulf Alsterlund

I am pursuing a PhD in history didactics and my thesis will deal with Swedish history teacher education. Above all, I am interested in questions about how subject matter, subject didactics and teaching methodology are interconnected and processed when new history teachers are trained in Swedish subject teacher education programs.

I have worked with and taught teacher training courses at Lund, Linköping and Gothenburg Universities. I also have a background as a high school teacher in history and social studies for 20 years, and still teach a little at Malmö Latin School.
