About Oskar Hultin Bäckersten
I am a lecturer in political science, mainly working with teaching in teacher's education. I defended my dissertation at Uppsala University in 2024.
My research areas concern political attitudes, political parties, and aspects of representative democracy. I am currently involved in research projects on the meaning of the left-right scale and how higher education forms democratic (or technocratic) attitudes.
I teach mainly in the core courses in teacher's education, in several different programs. I also teach political science, and supervise theses in several different programs and areas.
